We know that our culture is enmeshed in issues of racism, ethnocentrism, nativism, white supremacism, Islamophobia, and general discrimination. 
We don't call people "racist". Rather we recognize that all of us are influenced by racist ways of being and thinking. As such, we strive to stay in dialogue about how to heal and thrive in a multi-ethnic context.
